Here is a shot from the Misty Fjords National Monument
in Southeast Alaska. Three thousand foot cliffs rising
almost vertically from the sea, awesome. I've been back
from Alaska for a week now and have not posted till now.
It has been back to work like mad. More shots to follow.

Sorry for the graphic image. This scene was right outside
on the corner of the house in Klawock. The boys next door
were soaking the heads of their deer. Supposedly to get the
antlers off easier. But I was suprised to come walking around
the corner and see the submerged staring deer eye looking at
me though blood tinted water. We went for a drive out to sandy
beaches yesterday and saw plenty of living deer on the way back.
I'll be posting some living deer images soon.
Found this photo of the village of Klawock taken in
the winter of 1927. I'm currently hanging out here
with family on vacation. Enjoying the quite and peace.
Even though at high tide the the salmon are jumping
right outside my window and there is a constant
drumming of raindrops on the roof, all is calm up here
in the northern territory.
